  • How do researchers, by their own scientific constructs and categorizations, shape and take responsibility for the understanding of education and learning in society?

Webinarfestivalen er en grønn og gratis nettbasert konferanse som setter fokus på studentaktiv læring både i fysiske og virtuelle rom. Målgruppen er alle som er interessert i undervisning og læring. Dette blir en møteplass for erfaringsutveksling og nyttig «hands-on» praksis. I tillegg vil dette være en flott arena for å dokumentere deling av god undervisning i et fagfelleskap.

ICED 2020 «The Future-Ready Graduate» – First Call OPEN

The next ICED conference, ICED 2020, will be held in Zurich, Switzerland from 15-18 June 2020. The theme of the conference is “The Future-Ready Graduate”. For information see http://iced2020.ch/.
The First Call will close on 17 November 2019. There will be a Second Call, but submitters are strongly encouraged to answer the First Call to avoid disappointment if presentation slots fill up, and to take advantage of cheaper early bookings of flights and accommodation for this timely and important conference.

We look forward to receiving your abstract submissions for one of the following presentation formats:

  • Presentations for parallel sessions (30 minutes)
  • Workshops (90 minutes)
  • Panel discussions (90 minutes)
  • Posters

Konferanse: Forskning om högre utbildning 2021

Varmt välkommen till konferensen Forskning om högre utbildning vid Örebro universitet den 19–20 maj 2021!

Högskolepedagogiskt centrum vid Örebro universitet och tidskriften Högre utbildning har äran att inbjuda till den andra konferensen på temat Forskning om högre utbildning som går av stapeln den 19–20 maj 2021 i Örebro.

Initiativtagare till konferensen var Lunds universitet som våren 2018 anordnade ett unikt tillfälle för samverkan lärosäten emellan för att stärka forskningsfältet inom området högre utbildning i Sverige. Vi uppmanar nu alla som vill vara med och fortsätta forma fältet att spara datumet.  Året ut tar vi gärna emot förslag på special interest groups (SIGs), teman, nyckeltalare eller andra inslag som skulle skapa goda förutsättningar för samtal och samarbete under konferensen: fhu2021@oru.se.

Möjlighet till nätverksmöten och förkonferenser i anslutning till konferensen kommer att finnas. Call for papers släpps den 15 mars 2020.  Sprid gärna datumet inom era organisationer, institutioner, enheter och nätverk.

ICED conference 2020 – pre-conference workshops

Dear ICED networks,

We are the organisers of the next ICED conference, ICED 2020, to be held in Zurich, Switzerland from 15-18 June 2020. The theme of the conference is “The Future-Ready Graduate”. For preliminary information see http://iced2020.ch/ .

We are now soliciting submissions for pre-conference workshops, to be held on 15.6.2020. May we ask for your help? We would be grateful if you could approach people from your network who have a reputation for giving solid, practical workshops on educational development topics that interest the members of your network, and invite them to submit abstracts for pre-conference workshops at ICED 2020.

Details:

  • Date of pre-conference workshops: Monday 15.6.2020. Length: 3.5 hours (90 minutes + 30-minute coffee break + 90 minutes). Full-day (6-hour) workshops will also be considered.
  • Content: Pre-conference workshops are intended as professional development for educational developers and must address an educational development theme. They must feature active participant involvement and outcomes / take-home messages which participants can apply at their own institutions.
  • To include in the submission:
    1. A short biography of the submitter
    2. A nomination from the chair of the submitter’s ICED network
    3. An abstract (400 words maximum; no images or graphs) outlining the aim and content of the workshop
    4. A bibliography (200 words maximum, main sources only)
    5. A facilitation plan (200 words maximum; bullet points acceptable)
  • Deadline for submissions: 1 September 2019
  • Announcement of acceptance/rejection: 16 September 2019
  • Submissions, including abstracts and accompanying documents, should be sent as Word files to katherine.hahn@let.ethz.ch.

Please note that pre-conference workshop presenters will not receive an honorarium, but they will receive lunch and may attend a second workshop on the pre-conference day at no charge. If they wish to attend the main conference (which starts with a welcome event on the evening of 15 June 2020) they must register for it.
