At the Department of Education (IPED) in the University of Oslo there are vacancies for two permanent positions, as Professor (position code 1013) or Associate Professor (position code 1011). The teaching part of the positions is affiliated with LINK – Centre for Learning, Innovation and Academic Development.

Candidates for the positions are expected to develop a research agenda related to teaching and learning in higher education, and of relevance for the needs of IPED and LINK.

Ved Senter for profesjonsstudier (SPS) er det ledig en 100 % fast stilling som professor/førsteamanuensis i utdanningsforskning med oppstart våren 2024.

Senteret har fire forskningsgrupper:

  • Karriere, ulikhet og rekruttering
  • Ekspertise, politikk og etikk
  • Profesjonskunnskap og kvalifisering
  • Profesjonell praksis

Kandidaten skal styrke forskning og undervisning innen utdanningsfeltet og bidra til utvikling av nasjonale og internasjonale forskningsprosjekter av høy kvalitet. Den som ansettes vil undervise på OsloMets kurs i universitets- og høgskolepedagogikk, samt bidra med undervisning på senterets ph.d.-program og i annen pedagogisk virksomhet rettet mot OsloMets ansatte, som meritteringsordning for fremragende undervisere og kurs for ph.d.-veiledere.

Associate Professor related to Teaching and Learning in Higher Education at LINK – Centre for Learning, Innovation & Academic Development

The position involves 47 % teaching, 47 % research, and 6 % administrative tasks at LINK. LINK is a multidisciplinary center directly organized under the University Board at the University of Oslo (UiO).

Candidates for the position are expected to pursue a research agenda of high relevance for the interdisciplinary educational development work of LINK, for LINKs strategic position within UiO, and for LINKs contribution to UiO´s strategic goals. Relevant research themes could be:

a) Digital (including use of video) and hybrid design for teaching and learning based on universal design
b) Student-active forms of learning and learning centered teaching/pedagogical design
c) Innovative assessment methods in higher education
d) Learning analytics and evaluation of students’ learning
e) Governance and leadership in higher education
